Capturing the spirit of “ordinary people doing the extraordinary” - shrimpers, oyster workers, hunters, basket makers and others rooted in hard work and tradition has been a main focus of mine. I also love to paint Charleston’s iconic architecture, capturing the intricate details and timeless elegance of its historic buildings. The charm of cobblestone streets, wrought -iron balconies, and grand antebellum homes filled with stories from the past inspire my artistic vision.
